Hike-A-Thon 2014 is just around the corner!

In just two days, Hike-A-Thon 2014 officially begins.  This year, I've set a goal to hike 155 miles during the month of August and to raise $1000 to support the work of the Washington Trails Association.

This summer, I've also set a personal goal to hike more trails that are new to me.  I have quite a few favorites that I visit over and over again, so I'm trying to expand my horizons this summer. I've already started accomplishing this goal by hiking to places like...

Barlow Point

Deception Creek

North Fork Sauk River

Tonga Ridge and Mount Sawyer

But I've got a whole list of other new-to-me trails that I'm ready to tackle during Hike-A-Thon, so keep checking back all through August to read up on where I'm hiking.
