In just two days, Hike-A-Thon 2014 officially begins. This year, I've set a goal to hike 155 miles during the month of August and to raise $1000 to support the work of the Washington Trails Association.
This summer, I've also set a personal goal to hike more trails that are new to me. I have quite a few favorites that I visit over and over again, so I'm trying to expand my horizons this summer. I've already started accomplishing this goal by hiking to places like...
|
Barlow Point |
|
Deception Creek |
|
North Fork Sauk River |
|
Tonga Ridge and Mount Sawyer |
But I've got a
whole list of other new-to-me trails that I'm ready to tackle during
Hike-A-Thon, so keep checking back all through August to read up on where
I'm hiking.
